This agility is achieved by taking a hierarchical design approach where each piece of a design is broken down into functional blocks. This allows the design to be easily modified by adding, modifying or removing functional blocks. Additionally, these designs are done without requiring an RTOS, which reduces the hardware requirements and design cost.
